The Westmoreland Arts & Heritage Festival will feature informational panels along the Heritage Trail and throughout the Festival. A Heritage Panel is a 4 by 8-foot sheet of plywood that will be installed at the Festival June 29, 30, July 1, and 2. The subject matter of panels can show how a particular town, region, industry, business, ethnic group, or organization contributed to the history of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Panels are also an excellent opportunity for listing websites, membership information, event calendars, a listing of services, and accomplishments, etc. Photographs and maps are most welcome; however please do not use original photographs or other original material on the panel. Panels must be prepared in a way to withstand being displayed outdoors—all paper must be laminated and all paint must be able to hold up to moisture. If using photographs, please accompany them with descriptive text or captions. Panels comfortably fit 20 to 30, 8½ by 11 inch sheets. Panels may be picked up starting June 5 by calling the Festival office. Reserved panels may be taken back to your site to work on them. You may also make arrangements to work on your panel at the Festival office between June 5 and June 9. The Westmoreland Arts & Heritage Festival reserves the right to edit the content of any panel and to refuse to display panels that are deemed to be inappropriate.
